BRIDGEPORT — Have you ever been so mad that you wanted to send a wine glass soaring into a brick wall? Have the urge to ceremoniously smash that glitchy computer at work?
At the neighborhood’s CROMEgallery later this month, you’ll have a rare chance to satisfy those frustration-fueled urges.
As part of Bridgeport’s monthly Third Friday events, the Anger Room will take over the gallery at 3118 S. Morgan St. from noon-10 p.m. Friday-Sunday and allow ticketed guests 15 minutes to completely wreck a mock workplace, living area or kitchen.
A 15-minute session is $35.
A voiceover in a promotional video on the Anger Room's website describes the experience best: “Imagine a place where you get to demolish anything you want — a place to smash anything you can think of."
Each room will include a menu of breakable items — from computers and desks to televisions and couches.
Each guest can choose between a general room setting stocked with add-on items (like mannequins) — or a custom room setting made specifically for them.
Tickets will sell out fast. Get yours here.
