ARMOUR SQUARE — The White Sox will auction off retired team organist Nancy Faust's organ Saturday.
The starting bid is $1,000, and the item is part of the team's annual Holiday Garage Sale.
Because of the organ’s popularity, an online auction will go live at 2 p.m. Friday and end at 2 p.m. Saturday. You can bid on the organ here.
For neighborhood folks who show up to the sale when the doors of the Magellan Scout Lounge open at 10 a.m. Saturday, there will be a computer station set up for on-site bidding.
The winner is responsible for transporting the organ from U.S. Cellular Field by February. The auction ends at 2 p.m.
The annual sale will also give fans the opportunity to buy team apparel, autographed memorabilia and game-used items.
Free parking will be available in Lot D/E.
