Keep Your Kids Busy Over Winter Break with Annual Holiday Dodgeball Tourney

MOUNT GREENWOOD — Worried about keeping the kids busy over winter break?

Ald. Matt O'Shea (19th) promises to fill at least an hour or so on Dec. 28 and 29 at his annual Holiday Dodgeball Tournament.

All elementary school students living within the 19th Ward are invited to participate. Players will be grouped by age and placed on randomly assigned teams. It costs $1 per player to enter into the tournament.

The Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences at 3857 W. 111th St. in Mount Greenwood will host the event. All participants are asked to register online by Dec. 18. Registration can be completed on O'Shea's website.

Parents will be notified of their child's teams and schedules via email on Dec. 21.
