CHICAGO — Six people were shot — one fatally — since Thanksgiving day, according to police.

A 23-year-old man was fatally shot in West Ridge early Thursday afternoon, police said.

Most recently, a 31-year-old man was shot after leaving a South Loop nightclub early Friday morning, police said.

• A 45-year-old man was wounded in a Brighton Park shooting Friday morning, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. He was driving in the 3400 block of South California Avenue at 2:40 a.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, Lemmon said.

The man was struck in his head and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in "stable" condition, Lemmon said.

• A 31-year-old man was shot in Greater Grand Crossing Friday morning, Lemmon said. He was walking in the 7800 block of South Maryland Avenue at 1:20 a.m., when someone got out of an SUV and fired shots before fleeing, Lemmon said.

He was shot multiple times in his body, Lemmon said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, she said. The shooting victim is a documented gang member, police said.

• A 22-year-old man was injured in a Hegewisch shooting Thursday afternoon, Lemmon said. He was in an alley near the 13400 block of South Avenue O at 2:35 p.m. when someone in a pickup truck drove up and opened fire, Lemmon said.

The man was struck in his lower right leg and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in "stable" condition, Lemmon said.

• A 19-year-old man was shot in Grand Boulevard Thursday afternoon, Lemmon said. He was in the 5000 block of South Forrestville Avenue at 3:15 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, Lemmon said. He was shot in his left leg and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in fair condition, she said.

No arrests have been made.
