CHICAGO — A 31-year-old man was shot after getting into a confrontation at a South Loop club early Friday morning, police said.

The man got into an argument at a club in the 2100 block of South Wabash Avenue and had left the club when he was shot at 3:15 a.m., said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

He was shot in his chest while in a parking lot, Lemmon said. Police are unsure if the man who shot him is the same man the victim had argued with in the club, Lemmon said.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition, Lemmon said.

No arrests have been made, she said.
