CHICAGO — It may not be Thanksgiving yet, but CTA trains are ready for some serious holiday decorations, according to a Friday announcement.

A six-car train adorned with Christmas lights and painted end-to-end with snowflakes and Santa Claus will run on all eight rail lines, starting on the Red Line Saturday, the announcement said.

The tricked-out train will run through December thanks to a $300,000 sponsorship from Sprint, according to the CTA.

A similarly decorated 60-foot bus will start running on multiple CTA lines starting Dec. 2, the announcement said.
