CHICAGO — This map shows comprehensive information about property sales throughout Chicago's neighborhoods.
This map, comprehensive back to June 2015, will be updated every month. It has been updated to include sales registered through December 2015.
Colors represent property types while the size of the dot corresponds to the sale price as recorded by the Cook County Recorder of Deeds.
This interactive map can be used in conjunction with this map built on data from Zillow, a real estate information company, to track property trends in Chicago's neighborhoods, such as the booming housing market in Avondale.
In the coming months the map will track completed sales of everything from million dollar homes in Lincoln Square to $1 plot sales on the Far South Side.
