CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was shot and killed in North Lawndale Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
The man had gotten into an argument with another man in the 3200 block of West 15th Street at 1 p.m. when the second man retrieved a gun and opened fire, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The 24-year-old was struck in his head and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition before being pronounced dead, Pacheco said.
No arrests have been made as the investigation is ongoing, Pacheco said.
