CHICAGO — A 66-year-old man was shot and wounded in Morgan Park on Friday night, police said.

At 6:10 p.m., the man was walking in the 11300 block of South Racine Avenue when he heard shots and realized he'd been hit, said Officer Janel Sedevic, Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was hit in his side and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, Sedeivc said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
