WICKER PARK — Haven't had a chance to carve a pumpkin or drink a seasonal ale?

Beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, High Noon Saloon, 1560 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Wicker Park will be hosting a free Do-It-Yourself (DIY) pumpkin carving party for adults along with offering draft beer specials on two stouts.

The free pumpkins will be available on a first come basis and carving tools will be provided, according to news release.

The final creations will ideally stay in the bar as part of the Halloween theme post-party, though carvers are welcome to bring their pumpkins home too, a spokeswoman said.

Draft beer specials include Southern Tier Pumking, an imperial pumpkin ale ($7), and Southern Tier Warlock, an imperial stout brewed with pumpkins ($8).

Chef Antonio Gonzalez's menu will also features a roasted mini pumpkin stuffed with chipotle-marinated shrimp and tomato sofrito with a sweet corn and black bean puree ($7).

High Noon Saloon is open from 4 p.m. Thursday to 2 a.m. Friday. The kitchen is open until 11 p.m. Thursday.
