CHICAGO — Three people were injured in gun violence across Chicago Tuesday, according to police.

• Most recently, a 25-year-old man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Tuesday night in Hermosa, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The man was walking in the 2000 block of North Pulaski Road around 9:15 p.m. when a black car pulled up and a man inside the car shouted gang slogans before firing a gun, Sedevic said. The victim was struck in his leg and brought himself to Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center before being treated and released, Sedevic said.

The man is an admitted gang member, police said.

• A 25-year-old man was shot in Back of the Yards Tuesday afternoon, Sedevic said. The man was outside in the 800 block of West Garfield Boulevard at 4:55 p.m. when shots rang out, Sedevic said. He was struck in his lower leg and taken to Stroger Hospital in "stable" condition, she said.

• A 24-year-old man was shot Tuesday morning in Greater Grand Crossing, Sedevic said. The man was in the street in the 6700 block of South Evans Avenue at 9 a.m. when he was shot twice in his right side and once in his leg, Sedevic said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

No arrests have been made.
