CHICAGO — Filmmaker George Lucas and his wife, Mellody Hobson, were among those in attendance at a fundraising dinner held by President Barack Obama Tuesday, according to members of the White House Press Corps.

The dinner, held by Chicago businessman Robbie Robinson at $33,400 a plate, raised money for the president's campaign committee and the Democratic National Committee.

The president spoke for about 10 minutes, saying "It's always good being home" and listing some achievements from his presidency.

After the event Obama headed to the United Center, where he showed up for the second half of the Bulls game against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He's then scheduled to return to his Kenwood home, where he plans to spend his first night since February.
