BRIDGEPORT — Marz Brewing Company has a new home for its future brewing plant.

The company has signed a lease at 3630 S. Iron St., a brick building that’s been vacant for a decade, sitting on a 23,000-square-foot plot of land near Chicago’s storied Bubbly Creek.

Ed Marszewski, a Marz co-founder, said the building’s location and affordable rent was key in the company’s decision to rent.

“It is a perfect location right next to Bubbly Creek,” Marszewski said.

Marz Brewing plans to transition the company — now located at 3315 S. Halsted — next year.
