CHICAGO — A 17-year-old man was shot and killed in his home on Friday afternoon, according to police.
The victim was in his home at 3 p.m. in the 5100 block of North Austin Avenue when he was shot in his head, said Sgt. Antoinette Ursitti, Chicago Police spokeswoman.
He was taken to Lutheran General Hospital in critical condition and later died. The incident is "domestic-related," Ursitti said.
The victim was identified as Ryan Nicholson, of the 5100 block of North Austin Avenue, in Cook County Medical Examiner's records. He was pronounced dead at 3:21 a.m. Saturday.
