CHICAGO — A 19-year-old woman was killed and a 20-year-old man injured in a shooting in Auburn Gresham on Sunday, according to police.

The two were in a car in the 7800 block of South Honore Street at 4:25 p.m. Sunday when an shooter walked up and opened fire, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

The 20-year-old man ran off after the shooting and was taken by friends to Advocate Christ Medical Center, Sedevic said. His condition was unknown, she said.
