CHICAGO — Seven people have been wounded in shootings since Friday night, police said.

• At 5 a.m., a 23-year-old man walked into Mount Sinai with a wound in his right hip, said Officer Jose Estrada, Chicago Police spokesman. He was in good condition.

He told officers he had been shot in the 300 block of North Cicero Avenue in Austin but has been uncooperative and would not give further details, police said. He is a documented gang member, police said, and the incident may be gang-related.

• At 4:40 a.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in the 3300 block of West Warren Boulevard in Garfield Park, Estrada said. The man was sitting in a parked car when he heard several shots and felt pain. He took himself to Mount Sinai with a wound in his buttocks. He was in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

The man is a documented gang member, police said, and the incident may be gang-related.

• At 4:30 a.m., a 30-year-old man was the passenger in a car when he was shot during a drive-by in the 1600 North Humboldt Boulevard in West Town, Estrada said. A black SUV pulled alongside the car and someone inside fired, hitting the man in his back.

The man was driven to Norwegian American Hospital and was later transferred to Stroger Hospital, where he was in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

The man is a documented gang member, police said, and the incident may be gang-related.

• At 3:05 a.m., a 27-year-old man was the passenger in a car when he was shot in a drive-by in the 200 block of East 118th Place in West Pullman, Estrada said. The car was at a stop sign when a van pulled alongside and someone fired, hitting the man in his lower back.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

The man is a documented gang member, police said, and the incident may be gang-related.

• At 12:20 a.m., a 27-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the 3800 block of West Adams Street in Garfield Park, Estrada said. The man was sitting on a porch in the block when the gun went off, wounding his thigh. He was taken to Mount Sinai, where he was in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

• At 8:15 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in his leg in the 11600 block of South Elizabeth Street in West Pullman, Estrada said. The man heard shots and felt pain, and a man was seen running in an alley after several shots were fired, Estrada said.

The victim was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was in good condition, police said.

• At 6:10 p.m., a 19-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk in the 2000 block of East 75th Street in South Shore when he was shot during an attempted robbery, Estrada said. Two men walked up to the victim and told him they were robbing him. A struggle ensued and the victim was shot in his thigh.

The men ran away without taking anything, Estrada said. A friend of the victim took him to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

No one is in custody for these shootings.
