By Shamus Toomey | October 16, 2015 10:04am

CHICAGO — Every Cubs fans has someone who showed them the way. And many of those people are long gone.

If you've tolerated jeers from White Sox fans and Cardinals fans and other teams' fans your whole life, you aren't alone. But what made you stick with the Cubs through it all?

If you're like us, you have someone special in your life who took you to Wrigley for the first time, who bought you your first blue Cubs hat, who told you to believe and to ignore the haters.

We want to hear your story. Tweet us and tell us who you want the Cubs to #WinItFor, and we'll share your story here. If your grandma has been bleeding Cubbie blue for decades, send us her photo!
