NORWOOD PARK — A man has been arrested for molesting a 13-year-old while she pet his pit bull in Oriole Park Saturday afternoon, police said.
The man's name was not available Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Police said the man was walking his dog in Oriole Park, 5430 N. Olcott Ave., around 3 p.m. Saturday when a 13-year-old girl approached him and asked to pet his dog, a pit bull. While she petted the dog, the man touched her inappropriately, police said.
Police issued an alert Wednesday morning describing the suspect as a white man, approximately 29 years old, 6-feet-4-inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with teardrop tattoos on his face. He is a frequent visitor to Oriole Park, and drives a black car while playing loud music, police said.
The man told the girl not to say anything, police said.
