WRIGLEYVILLE — With the series tied at 1-1, the Chicago Cubs are returning home to face the St. Louis Cardinals Monday.

The game starts at 5:07 p.m. at Wrigley Field, but parking restrictions were in place at 7 a.m. Monday and will continue through 3 a.m. Wednesday following the fourth game in the series. Tuesday's game starts at 3:37 p.m. Gates open two hours prior to start time.

The following streets will be restricted on both sides:

• Clark Street from Belmont Avenue to Irving Park Road

• Sheffield Avenue from Belmont Avenue to Irving Park Road

• Addison Street from Halsted Street to Southport Avenue

• Racine Avenue from Belmont Avenue to Grace Street

• Cornelia Avenue from Halsted Street to Sheffield Avenue

• Wilton Avenue from Cornelia Avenue to Addison Street

Street closures will go into effect at 2 p.m., with Sheffield Avenue closing from Addison Street to Waveland Avenue. Waveland Avenue will close from Sheffield Avenue to Clark Street, although one side of sidewalk will remain open for both.

The Cubs are strongly encouraging fans to use public transportation or park in the remote lot, 3900 N. Rockwell St., which was used during the regular season as well. Free shuttle service to Wrigley Field will begin 3½ hours before the first pitch and will run until one hour after the game ends.

Free bike check service will also continue during the postseason just north of The Cubs Store across from the Wrigley Field marquee on Clark Street. Bike check begins two hours before the game and ends one hour after.

The Cubs hotline, 866-427-3869, will be open one hour before the games until two hours after the games end for neighbors to report issues like permit parking violations or traffic issues.
