BRIDGEPORT — Ald. Patrick D. Thompson (11th) will host a town hall meeting Wednesday for locals to ask questions about the city's 2016 budget, which could include a $600 million property tax hike.
Set for 7 p.m. in the community room on the second floor of Armour Square Park, 3309 S. Shields Ave., the meeting will feature representatives from Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s office and the City Council’s financial office.
This will also be an opportunity for neighborhood folks to open a discussion about neighborhood happenings with Thompson, who plans to hold a town hall meeting every quarter.
