CHICAGO — Three men were injured in a shooting on Sunday morning, police said.
A group of people were on a "party bus" at 3 a.m. in the 1100 block of South Jefferson Street when a fight started, said Officer Jose Estrada, Chicago Police spokesman. A man took out a gun and fired.
A 22-year-old man was hit in his leg and side. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was listed as "stable," Estrada said. A 21-year-old man was hit in his left leg and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in "stable" condition, Estrada said. Police could not say the extent of the injuries of either man.
A 22-year-old man was shot in his right hand and treated at Rush Medical Center.
One of the victims was a documented gang member, police said, and it's unclear if that was a motive in the shooting.
No one is in custody in the shooting.
