BEVERLY — Families are invited to join a special nature outing Saturday organized by Faith In Place.
Participants will learn how to do restoration work on the Dan Ryan Woods to help preserve the land from 10: 30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The group will meet near the 91st Street Beverly Hills Metra Stop at 10:30 a.m. All ages are welcome, but those under 17, must have an adult present. Appropriate attire for the weather is strongly encouraged. The group recommends long sleeves and pants. Water and snacks will be provided.
This nature outing is part of Migration & Me, an educational program aimed at engaging diverse audiences throughout the Chicago area in stewardship of the wildlife around them.
