ENGLEWOOD — The walls of the new Englewood Whole Foods Market started going up Thursday.

Co-CEO Walter Robb said at a community meeting put on by the Resident Association of Greater Englewood on Sept. 22 that people would begin to see the walls go up in about 10 days. The store will open in August, Robb said.

The new 18,000-square-foot store will be on the corner of 63rd and Halsted streets. Eventually, Chipotle and Starbucks will join it. The store will create 80-90 jobs, said Michael Bashaw, Whole Foods Market Midwest Regional president.
