Film crews will be shooting scenes for an episode of NBC’s “Chicago P.D.” in the neighborhood this week. That means there will be "No Parking" signs posted throughout the area make room for film trucks and equipment, according to a notice issued by Universal Television, the production company behind the show.

UPTOWN — There will be no parking along sections of Sheridan Road Tuesday as "Chicago P.D." films in Uptown on Tuesday.

From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., parking will not be allowed on both sides of Sheridan Road from Irving Park Road to Byron Street and the south side of Dakin Street from Sheridan Road to Seminary Avenue to make room for the necessary vehicles and equipment for filming.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., there will be intermittent traffic control on Sheridan Road from Irving Park Road to Dakin Street.
