MOUNT GREENWOOD — An ice cream social will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday at McKiernan Park in Mount Greenwood.
The event at 10714 S. Sawyer Ave. will include ice cream, music and games. A $1 suggested donation is asked of all attendees, and reservations are appreciated.

The ice cream social is sponsored by the association along with 115 Bourbon Street, Ald. Matt O'Shea (19th), state Rep. Fran Hurley (D-35th) and state Sen. Bill Cunningham (D-18th).
