WICKER PARK — For those craving a burger and fries from Small Cheval on a Monday or Tuesday, you can now indulge in both rather than waiting until midweek, as the new restaurant just announced expanded weekday hours.
Beginning Monday, Small Cheval will be open every day of the week. Since debuting in late June, the roadside burger joint from Brendan Sodikoff's Hogsalt Hospitality group has only been open from Wednesday through Sunday.
"Given the high demand, we decided to move to seven days," a spokeswoman said on Friday.
Along with the new days of operation, Small Cheval at 1732 N. Milwaukee Ave. has also added a new drink: a "boozy iced chocolate" on draft that costs $12. The drink features Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, Crema d'Alba, Hangar One vodka and Demerara Syrup.
The hours will remain 11 a.m. to midnight daily, with the kitchen closed daily from 3 to 5 p.m.
