BRIDGEPORT — Do you have an interest in beekeeping?
Head over to Halldoor Woodworking, a studio at the Bridgeport Art Center, 1200 W. 35th St., from 5-7 p.m. Friday for a free “Introduction to Beekeeping” course.
Veteran beekeeper Rob Hicks and woodworker Gary “Hal” Link — who recently harvested two gallons of honey from two hives he has on the roof of the Bridgeport Art Center — will moderate the class, teaching students about local and state regulations, beekeeping equipment and honey harvesting.
