LOGAN SQUARE — A foodie festival with some of the top chefs from Chicago and around the country is hosting a barbecue in Palmer Square.
Taste Talks Chicago is back in Chicago for its second year with a packed with culinary stars such as Paul Kahan (Blackbird, Publican, Avec), Matthias Merges (Billy, Yusho), Paul McGee and more.
The barbecue portion of the weekend, dubbed the All-Star BBQ, will be curated by Kahan and April Bloomfield.
Taste Talks is a national series of festivals that's held in Chicago and Brooklyn.
The Palmer Square barbecue is set for Oct. 4 and will include a sampling feast of dishes from more than a dozen chefs.
Tickets to the barbecue are $45. There are two sessions, one at noon and another at 2:30 p.m.
Other weekend events part of Taste Talks include a number of panel talks throughout the weekend as well as a cocktail party at the Virgin Hotel.
