LOGAN SQUARE — A German sausage is an Oktoberfest treat, but how about a sausage burger?

Logan Square's The Harding Tavern is celebrating the upcoming German tradition with just that.

The restaurant and bar's German-inspired Weisswurst Burger features a house-made white sausage burger topped with stone ground mustard, black sauerkraut with apricots and grilled panela cheese on a pretzel roll.

The burger will be available Sept. 22 during an event of Oktoberfest that will also include Goose Island giveaways.

The brewery is raffling off two limited-edition Goose Island record players and a tour for two at the Goose Island Brewery.

The Harding Tavern will have $6 pints of Goose Island's Oktoberfest and Autumn Ale on tap that come in keepsake Goose Island glassware to take home.

Those hoping to win raffle prizes must be present at the restaurant/bar, 2732 N. Milwaukee Ave., at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 22.
