CHICAGO — Finding a Republican presidential debate watch party can be a little tough in Chicago.
In fact, the Chicago Republican Party website lists just one official watch party for the city.
The main debate starts at 8 p.m. Thursday. You can watch the debate on FOX or catch a stream of it online — which means that as long as you have a Wi-Fi connection, you can watch the debate anywhere.
But if you want to make sure you can watch it with others, here are a few possibilities:
Where: Wrightwood Tap, 1059 W. Wrightwood Ave.
When: 7:30-10 p.m.
Why: Republicans of all ages will meet up to watch the debate and discuss the candidates at this official watch party.

Where: Billy Goat Tavern, 430 N. Michigan Ave.
When: Open 6-1 a.m.
Why: The Billy Goat Tavern attempted to refuse service to Republicans during the 1944 Republican Convention, putting up a sign that said, “No Republicans allowed.” Instead, Republicans flooded the place.
Perhaps it’s time for round two?

Where: Trump Tower, 401 N. Wabash Ave.
When: Varies
Why: There are no official watch parties at Chicago's Trump Tower, but Trump fans can throw money at their favorite candidate by spending the night in his swanky downtown hotel.

Where: Elephant & Castle Pub and Restaurant, 111 W. Adams St. and 185 N. Wabash Ave.
When: Open 6:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m. on Adams and 11-2 a.m. on Wabash
Why: Do we have to spell this one out? It’s an elephant. (Their logo also contains the Union Jack, so they might be confused why so many Yankees are milling around.)
