ENGLEWOOD — A 30-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were wounded in a shooting in Englewood Sunday night, police said.

Around 10 p.m., the two were sitting on a porch in the 5600 block of May Street when a white sedan pulled up, and someone got out and shot at them, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was shot in his left wrist and the woman was shot in her left calf, Sedevic said.

Both people were taken to Saint Bernard Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition, Sedevic said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

No one is in custody, police said.
