Celebrate All Things Locally Made at City Made Fest This Weekend

ANDERSONVILLE — Andersonville will get a little bit of everything the city has to offer this weekend at their annual celebration of all things local.

The 3rd annual City Made Fest will take place Saturday and Sunday along Clark Street from Argyle Street to Carmen Avenue. The fest will feature craft beer, music, food and artisan products — all locally made. See the full list of vendors here.

A $5 suggested donation will be accepted "to benefit the nonprofit Andersonville Development Corporation in its mission to foster sustainable community and economic development," the group said.

The fest will feature beers from Ale Syndicate, Aquanaut, Begyle Brewing, Finch's, Lagunitas, Metropolitan, Motor Row, Right Bee Cider (Saturday only), Andersonville Brewing Company, Atlas, Empirical, Half Acre, Lake Effect, Moody Tongue and Revolution. Cantina 1910, which is set to open on Sept. 16, will also help create Sangria for the fest, according to the website for the fest.

Music begins at noon both days with headliners Eleventh Day Dream taking the stage at 7:45 p.m. Saturday and Carla Prather & Company at 5:40 p.m. Sunday. Eleventh Day Dream was founded in the 1980s and is known for its exhaustive live performances honed at Chicago's Hideout Club, according to ThrillJockey.com. Prather is an avid singer and songwriter,who has been featured on WGCI-FM (107.5) and performed at the Vic Theatre, Double Door and the Metro, according to her website.
