CHICAGO — Iconic Chicago beer Old Style is introducing a new line of cans mimicking the Chicago Fire Department logo, its brewing company announced in a Thursday press release.

Pointing to a "successful debut" last fall, Pabst Brewing will once again start producing the "commemorative can" in 12-packs and 24-packs.

Proceeds from the stylized cans will benefit widows and orphans of firefighters who died on duty, the release said. The brewers are hoping to raise at least $10,000 for the charity as part of their recently launched Chicago Heroes program, which aims to "pay tribute to the hard-working men and women who keep Chicago safe and protected every day."

The campaign marks the only time Old Style has ever redesigned its can for an outside organization, the release said.

The cans will be sold at retailers all over the Chicago area.
