CHICAGO — A 19-year-old man was killed and two other men injured in a shooting Wednesday in Belmont Cragin, police said.

The 19-year-old was shot in the head and neck in the 5900 block of West Diversey Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. He was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition before he was pronounced dead, she said.

The man was been identified as Daniel Guerra, of the 2100 block of North McVicker Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Guerra was with two other men when they got into a fight with another man, who opened fire, Sedevic said. A 23-year-old man was shot in the back and taken to Illinois Masonic in critical condition, Sedevic said. A 22-year-old man was shot in the hand and taken to Community First Medical Center in stable condition, she said.

No arrests have been made.
