Meet the Cubs Addison Russell in Andersonville Thursday

ANDERSONVILLE — Baseball fans of all ages will get the opportunity to meet and take pictures Thursday with one of the Cubs rising stars in Andersonville.

Cubs infielder Addison Russell will sign autographs and take photos for the first 200 fans around 5:30 p.m. at the ATI Physical Therapy, at 4620 N. Clark St. ATI Physical Therapy is the official physical therapy provider of the Chicago Cubs.

Russell made his major league debut with the Cubs in April. Russell is batting .294 with 18 runs scored since the All-Star break.

To ensure all fans get the opportunity to meet Russell, only one photo per fan will be allowed and personal items are not eligible for autographs.

The Cubs and Wrigley Field are 95 percent owned by a trust established for the benefit of the family of Joe Ricketts, owner and CEO of DNAinfo.com. Joe Ricketts has no direct involvement in the management of the iconic team.
