DOWNTOWN — The Lake Street Bridge between Wacker Drive and Canal Street will be closed to traffic between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. Saturday, the Chicago Department of Transportation announced in a news release Thursday.

Due to maintenance work, westbound traffic will be detoured via Wacker to Randolph, west to Canal and north to Lake, the release said. Eastbound traffic will be detoured via Desplaines Street to Washington Street, east to Wacker and north to Lake.

The maintenance will also limit service on the Green Line and Pink Line, which will not operate between Clinton and the Loop between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m. Saturday.

For anyone trying to go from Clinton Avenue to the Loop, the CTA will operate a free shuttle bus service between Clinton and the Clark/Lake stop, the release said.
