Pilsen Community Market
BRIDGEPORT — Show up to the neighborhood’s community market the next two Saturdays, and you’ll experience a little slice of Beverly.
On Aug. 29 and Sept. 8, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Bridgeport Art Center, artists, food vendors and musicians from the Far South Side neighborhood will join the market’s regularly scheduled vendors.
A “music jam” will feature Beverly musicians Dave Waterman, Anthony Massaro and members of the band Coyote Riot.
Beverly produce vendor C&D Family Farms and Sweet Freaks Chocolates will sell goods.
Artists with the Beverly Area Arts Alliance will be in attendance, including Daniel McCabe, Jane Zia, Nicole Burns, Lizzy Benner and David Barsotti.
