Eat With Your Pooch During Dog Restaurant Week to Help Homeless Animals

CHICAGO — Wish your dog could have joined you during Restaurant Week? Now you can enjoy "Dog Restaurant Week" together.

From Sunday through Aug. 29, six Chicago restaurants will donate a percentage of sales to One Tail at a Time dog rescue.

The week kicks off Sunday with a "Puppy Party in the Patio" at West End Bar and Grill, 1326 W. Madison St. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., $1 from every Lagunitas beer sale goes to One Tail.

All restaurants have vegetarian or vegan-friendly options and Upton's, Old Town Social, Wishbone, Wyler Road and Reno have dog-friendly patios.

Participating restaurants are:

Upton's Breakroom, 2054 W. Grand Ave.

Old Town Social, 455 W. North Ave.

Wishbone West Loop, 1001 W. Washington Blvd.

Reno, 2607 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Native Foods Lakeview, 1023 W. Belmont Ave.

Wyler Road, 3581 W. Belden Ave.

One Tail at a Time opened a physical Bucktown location at 2144 N. Wood St. on Aug. 1.
