CHICAGO — What would Lincoln Park Zoo be like without all the kids and with more booze? Find out Friday.
"Adults Night Out" opens the zoo after hours to adults only. The event debuted earlier this summer and goes from 6:30-10 p.m. Friday.
The night features a DJ, food and cash bars throughout the zoo.
Attendees can also hear chats from zookeepers about lions and macaques, and see seals, lions, aardvarks, mongooses, black rhinos, camels, giraffes and pygmy hippos enjoy special treats and toys. Events include watching the zoo's rhinos demolish a pinata.
Rides on the carousel are free.
Tickets cost $12 for members online and $15 at the gate, or for nonmembers, $15 online and $18 at the gate. Tickets can be bought online here.
The event is limited to those 18 and older.
