JEFFERSON PARK — Bike 45 will host a fix-a-flat workshop Sunday to help bicyclists to get back on the road after a busted tire, organizers said.

The workshop is designed to encourage bicyclists to ride long distances without fear of getting stuck without a way to get home.

All riders should know how to fix a flat, organizers said.

Participants should bring a bike, at least one spare tube for your bike, two tire levers and, if possible, a frame pump. During the workshop, participants will fully replace the tube on their own bicycle — and should be prepared to get dirty, organizers said.

The workshop will take place at 9 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of Hoyne Savings Bank at 4729 N. Milwaukee Ave. on the east side of the street, organizers said.
