CHICAGO — Now that Chicago's biggest summer music festival is over, prepare for "Puppypalooza."

The event from Famous Fido animal shelter will take place from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday at Aayu Clinics, 1645A W. School St. in Lakeview.

Those attending will have the opportunity to adopt cat and dogs and buy raffle tickets benefiting the Andersonville animal shelter.

The animal rescue announced in June it will move from 5430 N. Clark St. to 3124 W. Irving Park Road due to a rent hike.

The center open on Irving Park in the fall.

"We are looking to create a better home for our animals and create a learning center to help educate the community about how we should properly care for and interact with our animals," according to a Famous Fido release.
