MORGAN PARK — New and returning students and families are invited to a sno cone social from 6-8 p.m. Sept. 2 at Clissold Elementary School in Morgan Park.
The free event is sponsored by the Clissold PTA and will be held near the school's main entrance at 2350 W. 110th Place.
Clissold families will be able to meet PTA members as well as new Principal Sean McNichols.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to tour classrooms, order gym clothes and school uniforms, learn about PTA-sponsored sports and other events and more.
Classes resume at Clissold on Sept. 8.
