GOLD COAST — Bar Toma, which closed last month for renovations, is handing out free pizza from its new menu this week before reopening.

The Gold Coast pizzeria, 110 E. Pearson St., will give out free wood-fired slices from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and from noon to 1 p.m. Friday.

Guests are limited to one slice, and must follow the pizzeria on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to participate. The restaurant will reopen at 5 p.m. Friday.

A spokeswoman for the restaurant said Tuesday the slices will come from Bar Toma's new menu, but the specific type of pizzas that will be served have yet to be determined.
