ENGLEWOOD — The Black Harvest Film Festival is showing a romantic comedy from its "best of" selection on Tuesday.

"The Grand Gesture," a 2014 film with a running time of 1 hour and 5 minutes, will play at the Kelly Branch Library, 6151 S. Normal Blvd. at 5 p.m.

The film is about a man who waits for his ex-girlfriend in a Harlem diner. During the wait he meets a nosy waitress and a psychic who try to give him advice. The film shows flashbacks of the relationship's highs and lows, including a romantic hotel rendezvous gone wrong. The audience watches as the protagonist holds out for true love.

The screening is free and open to the public. A film discussion will follow the screening, and attendees will have a chance to receive free tickets to the Black Harvest Film Festival, which runs through Sept. 3.

Snacks will be provided.
