Canaryville Rally To Address Graffiti, Gang-Related Activity

CANARYVILLE — Ald. Patrick D. Thompson (11th) and Deering District Police Cmdr. Daniel Godsel are inviting neighborhood residents to attend a community rally called "Operations Wake Up!"

Set for 6 p.m. Friday at the corner of 48th Street and Union Avenue, the rally will address a recent spate of crime in the area, including graffiti, shots fired and other gang-related activity.
