NORWOOD PARK — Have you always wondered if those old books gathering dust in your attic for decades are actually priceless heirlooms?

Now's your chance to find out.

Reno DelRosario, who has been an antique dealer for 13 years, will evaluate a limited number of items after a talk at 2 p.m. Aug. 19 at Norwood Crossing, 6016-20 N. Nina Ave.

DelRosario, who will speak as part of Norwood Crossing's Timely Talk series, will discuss how to tell trash from treasure by conducting research as well as how to protect antiques from the ravages of time.

Attendees may have no more than one item evaluated by DelRosario, and reservations are required.

Norwood Crossing is a long-term care retirement community.
