CHICAGO — The 606 is busy these days with joggers, strollers, dogs, skateboarders — and dog skateboarders?
A mutt took to The 606 on wheels recently — and in a stylish floral print shirt — in a video for Figo Pet Insurance, a Chicago-based startup.
Director Kevin Ludden said he came up with the idea for the video before finding its star.
He asked around, "Does anybody know a dog that can skateboard?"
And one of his friends did: the talented Chico, of suburban Oak Park.

The well-behaved skater dog made the shoot roll along smoothly, and visitors to the new elevated Chicago trail were excited to see the stunt, especially a group of young schoolchildren.
"You should have seen everybody on The 606," said Ludden, a Lincoln Park resident. "It was crazy. Everyone was stopping ... people were just laughing. Everyone was taking pictures."
Chico was pretty laid-back about the whole thing, Ludden said.
"Oh my gosh, he loved it," he said.
And if he had crashed, yes, Figo Pet Insurance would have covered him, Ludden said.
