Art Show at Bridgeport's Co-Prosperity Sphere Themed Around Racial Justice

8th Day Center for Justice's Young Adult Council

BRIDGEPORT — A new art show aiming to spark more conversation about "racial oppression that continues to be ever prevalent in our country” is coming to the Co-Prosperity Sphere.

Hosted by the 8th Day Center for Justice's Young Adult Council, the show — titled “These Are Not My Problems” — comes to the art house at 3219 S. Morgan St. on Aug. 21.

The show, themed around racial justice, costs $25 to attend and runs from 7 p.m. to midnight. Admission includes a free drink ticket and light snacks. All proceeds go to 8th Day, a justice-focused organization founded by Catholic congregations.

The event will also feature live music and poetry readings.
