BRIDGEPORT — Four girls from the neighborhood are heading to Hermosa Beach, Calif., to compete for the AAU West Coast Junior Olympics Beach Volleyball Championship.
Jamie Schaller, 12, and Vickie Mancine, 11, qualified for the Junior Olympics at the North Avenue Beach Volleyball Tournament on June 27.
Bella Lacoco, 12, of Canaryville, and Arianna Pascente, 12, of Bridgeport, qualified for the Hermosa Beach trip at the July 18 North Avenue Beach tournament.
The West Coast Junior Olympics will be help Saturday and Sunday.
