MORGAN PARK — The Beverly Arts Center welcomes area residents to enjoy a Sip of Summer/Art Night Out from 6-9 p.m. Friday.
The fundraiser will feature live music from Johnny V & the Killer Bzzz in the courtyard at 2407 W. 111th St. in Morgan Park.
A series of live demonstrations will also be part of the event, including a summer fashion show by Beverly's Belle Up Boutique, a canvas painting class with artist Lauren Martinkus and a mixology course offered by Lizzy Brenner of Horse Thief Hollow.
Small plates of cheese, hors d'oeuvres and chocolate from Sweet Freaks Chocolates and Catering will also be available, along with makeup and nail art demos, massages and tarot card readings. Bookie's Paperbacks and More will showcase some of its best summer reads.
Proceeds from the benefit will help the center provide in-school and youth programming throughout the community.
